  • Wonder Woman & Hearts for Sale?
    August Unboxings

Hey readers! I'm introducing a new feature to my blog, which is my monthly unboxings of subscription boxes. I usually do these unboxings on my Instagram story. But, I decided to also post them on my blog for people who don't have Instagram or miss my story. Throughout the month of August, I received two book subscription boxes from Owlcrate and Illumicrate. I was anticipating their arrival for since I had ordered them / was sent them as part of being a rep. For those who aren't aware of book subscription boxes, these companies curate a box, sometimes according to a theme and bookworms/book dragons (such as myself) subscribe to them and they're made on a scheduled basis. • I'm In A Bookish RPG?
    #TheReadingQuest TBR!

If there’s anything you need to know about me, it’s that I’m extremely obsessed with RPG games and the quests that they contain. Some of my favourites include The Elder Scrolls and Dragon Age. So, when I heard of #TheReadingQuest, it was impossible NOT to do it! I’ve had so much fun choosing books to read for this challenge that I’ve never read before but choosing my class was perhaps the easiest decision. I’ve always loved magic, so it wasn’t… Read More

  • It's essential for our future
    Diversity in Literature

Everyone deserves to feel represented in all forms of media. It is a human right. To define diversity, I love the definition ‘We Need Diverse Books‘ gave over on their mission statement page, “We recognize all diverse experiences, including (but not limited to) LGBTQIA, Native, people of color, gender diversity, people with disabilities*, and ethnic, cultural, and religious minorities.” Today, we live in a world where we pride ourselves on how diverse we are. We all come from different backgrounds,… Read More

  • Guilty As Charged
Series I've Been Meaning To Start

As a reader, if I’m guilty of one thing it’s that I haven’t started series that I’ve been meaning to. I want to read all of the books, but that also means that my TBR pile is massive. I’m currently being drowned in my TBR but once I’ve discovered the secret to immortality, I’ll finally beat it! It really bugs me too because I’ve bought many Book Ones of series but I just haven’t started since they’re deep in my TBR… Read More

  • Life as a Bookworm
    Facing Our Struggles Head On

Reading books is one of my greatest joys in life and because of it, I’ve become what’s known as a bookworm. Although, I’d rather have names such as a book dragon or maybe even my self-proclaimed title of Prince of Stories. (I aspire to have a throne of books) We as bookworms are terrifying, not only because our minds are richer because of our widened vocabulary, but also because we have the power to take over the world! But for… Read More
