Below is the scale that I use when it comes to terms with rating a book. If you’re looking to read my review policy, you can do so here.
Oh my gosh! I only put down this book when I had to, and I already have a pairing to ship! Rereads are definitely in the question, I’d love to live in this book and I hope that there is a sequel coming out. This is totally one of my favourites and I’d definitely recommend it to all of my friends.
This book was seriously awesome, I loved the majority of it but there was something that annoyed me that I just couldn’t let go. I’d love to reread this book, and I would totally buy the sequel (if it had one). I’d still recommend it to my friends, though.
This book was 50/50, it was a good book but there definitely were some problems that interrupted my reading of it. I might reread it, but it really depends on whether my TBR pile allows me to at that time. When recommending, I’d mention that they’d either love it or hate it.
I liked the premise of the novel and it started off great but the more I read it, the more I began to dislike it. I probably wouldn’t reread this book unless I decide to see if my perspective on it has changed. The book was only finished so that I could mark it as read on my Goodreads shelf. These books wouldn’t be recommended.
I either extremely hated this book or otherwise didn’t finish it at all. These books are ones I’d never reread and I’d point out some of the major flaws I had with the book. Books that are also discriminative are also given this rating. These books would never be recommended to any of my friends.
